Type-X ceramic hybrid (XCG, XCO) ball bearings are specially made for competition models. Ultra smooth, high performance and durability. They are all ready to race but still require maintenance.

XCG - 1/8 nitro off road.
XCO - 1/12 ~ 1/8 on road, 1/10 electric off road.

Low profile XCG ball bearings such as models R1212, 6702 etc... will not feel smooth when new due to the amount of grease inside but will smooth out once the bearings have been used.
